Now in its 17th year of operation Media Business Services Co Ltd (MBS) are planning and moving towards the next decade at the ‘helm’ with the 2020 Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek promising to be another great event with some new and exciting additions

As we move into the 17th edition of Phuket Raceweek our focus continues on sailing and the benefits of Phuket and Thailand as a water-based destination. Focusing on the continued development of our event as we move into the final half of the events 2nd decade we are looking forward to meeting more international visitors and supporters while retain our core values of supporting wherever possible the local sailing community.

Sailing

Welcome to Sailing Paradise.

Phuket Raceweek is based on the East Coast of Phuket and hosted by its Title Sponsor Cape Panwa Hotel and sister hotel Kantary Bay Hotel. The regatta is based on the beach at Cape Panwa Hotel with a beachside regatta area set aside as The Regatta Village for the duration of the event.

Sailing takes place in and around the Bay of Chalong and neighbouring Phuket Islands.

Social

Sharing the event.

Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek is a social regatta both on and off the water. Meeting and greeting and making sure everyone has a great time is at the core objective of the organisers. In turn we ask our guests, sailors and participants to help us “share the word” via Social media channels and of course word and mouth both in the Regatta Village and when you return home.

Parties

Hospitality and Friendship.

Renowned for its Four days of sailing and extravagant parties under the stars the fun starts here. Registration day on Wednesday is followed that evening with the Official Opening Ceremony and then Co-Sponsor Mount Gay Rum presents the “Opening Party” non stop entertainment, and of course Free Flow of Mount Gay Rum and all complimented by sumptuous buffets from the team at Cape Panwa Hotel.
