We are going sailing
The Phuket Sandbox is working with over 12,000 visitors in July. However, as we move into August and Covid 19 restrictions are being enforced and extended throughout Thailand we wanted to confirm our intentions.
We are going sailing.
I am reaching out to ask you to help us by getting your registration filled in ASAP. You can register HERE.
- There is no need to pay at this time.
- An indication of the number of crew would be most helpful.
- If you are a boat looking for crew, you may use the Boat looking for crew area of the website HERE.
- If you are crew looking for a boat, feel free to use the Crew looking for boats area on the website HERE.
The 18th Phuket Raceweek with sailing based in the South of Phuket and Chalong Bay with registration on Thursday 26th August and 3 days racing Friday to Sunday the 27th – 29th August.
Please put the dates in your diary and if you are coming help us out by registering now.

As organisers of the 2nd largest Sailing Regatta in Southeast Asia, these are very challenging times. We are asking for your support and commitment to help us get this year’s event up and running.
Entry Fees are:
- Boat entry fees, 6,000 Thai Baht per boat.
- Participant entry ticket of 300 Thai Baht per person.
Contingency Plans.
If we cannot hold onshore activities due to the Covid situation and any further government controls and/or restrictions, we will still plan to go ahead with the on-water sailing.
The series Awards could be scheduled at a later date, and the venue to be confirmed.
