We are delighted to welcome Mount Gay Rum as a Co-Sponsor of the 2016 Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek and to celebrate we have an Early Bird close out the event on Friday 10th June at Phuket Yacht Club from 7pm supported by Mount Gay Rum.

Supporters of our regatta now for a number of years we are very excited to announce the Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek 2016 opening party will once again be sponsored by Mount Gay Rum and we can all look forward to a night of awesome Caribbean style cocktails and entertainment.

Every great story begins with a time and a place.

For Mount Gay Rum that time and place are the Caribbean Island of Barbados in 1703. Rum, originally called “Kill-Devil” by the Barbadians who first distilled it, is truly a product of the island.

Sailing vessels carried exotic trade from the colonies and introduced Caribbean flavours to Europe and the Americas. This period of shipping was an important part of Mount Gay’s Heritage.

If you can make it to The Phuket Yacht Club this Friday for this Mount Gay Rum invitation early Bird close out it would be great to see you all, if not we look forward to welcoming everyone at the opening party on Wednesday 20th July.

Early Bird Entries.

Once again registrations are flowing with 36 boats registered as I write.

Thank you for taking the time to get your entries in early, this really does help us to cater for you, along with organising shirts, hats and other necessary supplies. We have extended early Bird pricing until Friday 10th June and to help those of you in Phuket, Kung Rung and her team will be present at Phuket Yacht Club on Friday the 10th organising the Mount Gay Rum and to take further registrations and payments, (better be early).
